“World of Warcraft Classic” is expected to satisfy a lot of hardcore players who have a hankering to return to the vanilla days. So far, the developers have done a great job of listening to the community and addressing issues brought up by players.
From spell batching to potential loot abuse, the team behind “World of Warcraft Classic” is making positive waves and earning the trust of its loyal fan base with every update. And with summer drawing to a close, everyone has more or less have an idea what character they’re going to play.
There are nine classes in “World of Warcraft Classic.” Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock, Paladin, and Druid. Each of these classes has their respective advantages and disadvantages, which can be addressed if a player teams up with a reliable group, Tom’s Guide reported.
And this is one of the major challenges in “World of Warcraft Classic.” Communication will be an integral part of a player’s day to day life within the game as there will be no Dungeon Finder in this reimagining. While this may deter modern-day gamers, others are all for it as it provides an authentic feel for the game. Developers Brian Birmingham and Omar Gonzalez previously said that highlighting social interaction is important for them to create a nostalgic feeling for those wanting a full-on re-experience.
“Leaving the city was terrifying! Even a harmless looking creature could pose an extraordinary challenge… In [World of Warcraft] Classic, you are a newcomer to adventure who has a lot to learn in a dangerous and hostile world. This difficulty drives you to rely on other players to help you – and that, in turn, strengthens the emerging social connections,” Birmingham explained.
There will be six phases in “World of Warcraft Classic,” which will start with Molten Core and end in Naxxramas. As for when exactly “World of Warcraft Classic” will launch, Blizzard has yet to offer a specific date. The company only said that Classic will be coming out sometime this summer.
