SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Jan. 26, 2017 -- The Board of Directors of Westamerica Bancorporation (NASDAQ:WABC) today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.39 per share on common stock outstanding to shareholders of record at the close of business February 6, 2017. The dividend is payable February 17, 2017.
Chairman, President and CEO David Payne stated, “This dividend recognizes Westamerica’s healthy capital level, stable asset quality, and relatively high earnings level.”
On January 19, 2017, Westamerica reported $14.5 million in net income for the three months ended December 31, 2016, or $0.56 diluted earnings per common share.
