SAN RAFAEL, Calif., April 26, 2018 -- The Board of Directors of Westamerica Bancorporation (NASDAQ:WABC) today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.40 per share on common stock outstanding to shareholders of record at the close of business May 7, 2018. The dividend is payable May 18, 2018.
Chairman, President and CEO David Payne stated, “This dividend recognizes Westamerica’s healthy capital level, sound asset quality, and profitability.”
On April 19, 2018, Westamerica reported $17.5 million in net income for the three months ended March 31, 2018, or $0.66 diluted earnings per common share.
