Voki is a popular Ed-Tech software used by millions that enables teachers and students to create dynamic, customizable speaking avatars (known as “Vokis”) using their own spoken voice. Voki’s avatar collection includes relatable cartoon characters, historical figures, animals, holiday characters and much more.
Voki Teach offers interactive content with hundreds of complete curriculum lessons covering ELA, Social Studies, and Math & Science. Under Na’ama’s leadership, the best available tried and tested techniques are being applied to create new content. For example, ELA lessons are being created using the most universal of the Common Core guidelines. Math lessons will follow the Duval Math system and Social Studies and Science will now follow the New York State and national U.S. standards, focusing on the large concepts and skills.
In addition, Na’ama has developed plans to add digital literacy and STEM content to the already diverse offerings in the pipeline. Voki Teach features relevant lessons that follow current trends in education, and interactive content that allows streamlined technological integration in the classroom.
“We are thrilled to have Na’ama Rosenberg join the Voki team,” says Gil Sideman, C.E.O. “Her experience and credentials are among the best in the industry, and she reflects the company’s commitment towards excellence in both Ed-Tech and level of service being offered to teachers.”
Voki Teach is available to all registered Voki users, with new content being added weekly.
“Creation of quality interactive content will redefine how technology is used in the classroom. Teachers will, in essence, have a digital co-teacher,” says Na’ama Rosenberg. “I’m excited and eager to elevate the offerings in the Ed-Tech realm, and provide content that is focused, yet diverse.”
