ATLANTA, Sept. 13, 2016 -- Numerex Corp (NASDAQ:NMRX), a leading provider of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, today announced the release of the Uplink® 4555 sole path primary fire alarm communicator, which is now available and shipping to North American alarm dealers and distributors. The 4555 is UL listed with a built-in primary GSM cellular, sole path communicator that can be used in lieu of a fire panel for specific applications such as sprinkler riser monitoring. Featuring 4 supervised zones, a NAC circuit, a 24v output and a smoke detector circuit, the 4555 is the ideal solution for alarm dealers to increase revenues. With its cellular and POTS communications capability and compact size, the 4555 provides an easy to install and economical solution for fire monitoring, or as a communicator for a larger panel, without the time and expense of installing a full sized fire panel and separate communicator.
Vin Costello, Chief Revenue Officer, Numerex commented, “Numerex is excited to deliver a unique and compelling fire alarm solution through our Uplink brand to security dealers and distributors. The 4555 is a one-of-a-kind product and unrivaled in the industry in terms of affordability combined with feature/functionality.”
Added Tom Morris, President and Owner of Allguard Security in Memphis, TN, "The Uplink 4555 Fire Panel is a well-engineered product, great for small sprinkler systems as a stand-alone panel. This product fills a key area of need for my customers."
Uplink 4555 Key Features Include:
- UL Sole Path Primary Communicator
- All-in-one 4-zone Fire Panel with built-in cellular communicator
