President-elect Donald Trump plans to enact over 200 executive actions on his first day in office, Fox News Digital reports. These measures aim to address border security, energy independence, federal bureaucracy, and the cost of living.
Key actions include declaring a national border emergency, deploying military and Homeland Security resources to secure the southern border, and designating criminal cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. Trump will reinstate policies like “Remain in Mexico” and “Catch and Release” and accelerate border wall construction.
On energy, Trump intends to declare a national energy emergency, roll back Biden-era restrictions on oil, gas, and pipeline projects, and end offshore wind leases. The administration plans to maximize Alaskan energy production and withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Climate Accord.
The new administration will implement federal hiring freezes, merit-based staffing, and the elimination of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs. Security clearances for officials linked to contentious actions before the 2020 election will also be suspended.
These sweeping reforms underscore Trump’s commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises and restoring American greatness.
