NORTH TUSTIN, Calif., Feb. 09, 2017 -- The Prentice School, a nonpublic, private and nonprofit academic school with an established reputation as one of the leading schools for children with learning differences that include dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD and anxiety, is pleased to announce the launch of its new website professionalsforprentice.org. The website was developed for professionals who might want to learn about Prentice’s proactive intervention strategy that develops a student’s full potential and optimizes their ability to return to a mainstream academic environment. The site also allows professionals to register in the school’s professional database to become collaborators and trusted referral sources.
“We’ve been building collaborative relationships with professionals for many years and witnessing the positive impact our relationships have on the students,” says Alicia Maciel, Executive Director for the Prentice School. “This holistic approach of involving the educational, legal and healthcare experts, as well as family members who have a vested interest in the child’s social, emotional, and academic development builds a strong community working together to help students reach their full potential.”
“We want working professionals who work with families that may have a student with a learning difference to know that we will work closely with them when they place their child at Prentice,” says Devon Green, Director of Enrollment at The Prentice School. “Our track record of transparency, and our high rate of success also extends to the public school system. Our goal is to become long-term partners with professionals who interact directly with students and their families who can significantly benefit from our program.”
The newly designed professionalsforprentice.org website allows professionals to learn about the Prentice Approach, which is designed to engage students on three learning pathways, including auditory, visual, and kinesthetic—and features a frequently-asked-question section and the benefits Prentice has to offer families.
"The new professionals site also empowers professionals in education, healthcare and legal with the information they need to become an active partner with Prentice for the families they serve who seek a unique, academic school that helps children with learning differences achieve success," said Mark Gaines, Board President for The Prentice School. “We are proud to have launched an intuitive, informative, and first-rate site that allows professionals to register in our professional database to become an important referral resource and collaborator with us.”
Professionals can access the website by visiting professionalsforprentice.org or by clicking on the “for professionals” link on prentice.org.
