“The Air Force Association is thrilled to welcome Boeing to a group of visionary sponsors who want to positively shape the future of STEM education and our cyber workforce,” said Bernie Skoch, CyberPatriot National Commissioner. “CyberPatriot is doing great things--the data supports that. But the good we are doing is possible only through the generosity of companies like Boeing.”
CyberPatriot’s partnership with Boeing allows the program to expand and promote new initiatives and encourage cyber and STEM education in the United States.
“We are pleased to aid in the education of thousands of students through the CyberPatriot program,” said Boeing Chief Information Security Officer and IT Vice President Kevin Meehan. “It is an honor to support the development of cyber skills for our future leaders in such a critical area.”
CyberPatriot, the nation's largest and fastest growing youth cyber education program, is AFA's flagship science, technology, engineering and mathematics program dedicated to strengthening cyber skills among American youth. The program features the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition for high school and middle school students, AFA CyberCamps, and an Elementary School Cyber Education Initiative.
Other supporters of CyberPatriot include the Northrop Grumman Foundation, CyberPatriot's Presenting Sponsor, as well as Cyber Diamond sponsors AT&T and the AT&T Foundation, Cisco, Microsoft, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security; Cyber Gold sponsors Facebook, Riverside Research, Splunk, and Symantec; and Cyber Silver sponsors Air Force STEM, Air Force Reserve, American Military University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Leidos, Mastercard, and University of Maryland University College.
The Air Force Association is a non-profit, independent, professional military and aerospace education association. Our mission is to promote a dominant United States Air Force and a strong national defense, and to honor Airmen and our Air Force Heritage.
