Tim Marr deal analysts help shoppers find the best deals by comparing Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts from the big retailers. Black Friday is set to bring a record number of deals for shoppers with retailers increasingly reliant on the sales day for generating revenue. Average consumer spending throughout the holiday shopping season of November and December has been growing at close to 5% per year for the last six years. The National Retailer Federation (NRF) Survey estimates that shoppers spent around $700 billion during the 2016 holiday shopping season.
Whilst historically Black Friday has involved lengthy queues and chaotic scenes at retail stores, the transition to online deals has eased the pressure on brick and mortar sales. During Black Friday 2016 more customers shopped online than in store, according to a survey undertaken by the National Retail Federation.
When do Black Friday deals start? This year retailers started deals online on Monday, November 20th and are running them until Cyber Monday the following week.
The team at Tim Marr is adding new Chromebook Black Friday deals to their website every day.
