Target, Macy’s, Walmart, and other major retailers in the United States are all set for the upcoming Black Friday on Nov. 24. This nationwide event typically marks the start of the Christmas shopping season thus it is a huge booster to sales of most retail companies.
Many firms are now preparing for this occasion which will continue throughout the Thanksgiving week. As mentioned on Axios, the Black Friday event matters to Amazon, Walmart, Target, Macy’s, and many more because consumers tend to shop more during the holidays.
This year, retailers have also created special deals and discounts as they look forward to seeing people shop in stores and online despite inflation woes. While most retailers and brands will be closed on Thanksgiving, people can do their shopping in advance.
Stores to Check Out With Schedules
Macy's Black Friday deals will be offered from Nov. 19 to Nov. 25 and its stores are open from 6 a.m. to 10:59 p.m. This will be followed by the “Cyber Monday Sale” on Nov. 26 to 27.
For Target, its Black Friday sale will start on Sunday morning and one of the best-priced deals is a 70-inch television which will be sold for just $299.99. There is also a rare discount on the Xbox Series X Console during the sale.
At Amazon stores, its sales will run from Nov. 17 to Nov. 27 as it will also include the Cyber Monday deals which begin on the 25th. The company said that all shoppers will also be given free access to the first-ever Black Friday NFL game streaming match between New York Jets and Miami Dolphins via Prime Video.
Other Best Places to Visit
Other stores to visit for the Black Friday super sale extravaganza are Best Buy, Costco, JCPenney, Kohl's, and Lowe’s. Aside from the discounts some of them will also give away various prizes for customers.
Meanwhile, NBC Miami reported that these stores will help customers maximize their savings, especially this holiday season. Out of the 3,500 deals surveyed by WalletHub in the U.S. for the Black Friday event, it found that the overall average discount that stores offer is 35%.
While this is the usual percentage, it advised shoppers to aim for this amount and higher. By following this tip, people will be able to make the most of the Black Friday deals this year.
