NEW YORK, Oct. 05, 2016 -- TPP Healthcare, a global advisory firm specializing in deal flows targeting China’s healthcare sector, announces its China Partnering Forum at AdvaMed 2016: The MedTech Conference for the second consecutive year. The forum will take place this month (October 17-19, 2016) at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minnesota.
Concentrating in cross-border healthcare transactions, TPP aims to connect Chinese enterprises with North American and European companies seeking investment and licensing opportunities appropriate for China’s healthcare market. The TPP Healthcare China Partnering Forum at AdvaMed 2016 will feature TPP’s classic partnering event for attendees to meet one-on-one with Chinese healthcare companies and investment institutions.
In a change from previous events, the highlight of this year’s China Partnering Forum will be a series of exclusive information panels themed “China Capital Meets Overseas Innovation.” The panels will assist MedTech companies to better understand the Chinese market and avoid potential pitfalls from both business and legal perspectives. Industry player, Tony Chu, TPP Founding Partner, will be onsite hosting such panels and sharing his latest observation on healthcare cross-border activities. Also showcased will be “A High Level Overview on China MedTech Cross Border Activities,” a panel hosted by JC Sun, TPP Managing Director. Sun’s discussion will provide attendees insight on the latest trend and dynamics of China cross-border activities in the Medtech industry, discussing not only the transactions but also the operations afterwards.
The TPP Healthcare China Partnering Forum will also host an arrangement of industry veterans sharing real-life licensing cases in China during the sought out conference. Other participating panelists include:
- JSC Group
- Pagoda Investment Fund
- Huangzhou Kangyou Medical (HKM)
- HUGER Medical Instruments (HMI)
- CH-Gemstone Capital
- Jiangsu Juhe Science & Technology (JJST)
- Henan Shensheng Medical
- Maxhealth Medicine Group
- Jyton Group
Chu comments, “The time is now to invest in the growing Chinese market. This year’s panels and discussions will feature the most updated, in-depth observation on Chinese market dynamics and the prospect of China’s healthcare industry. Our core focus at TPP remains the same as every year, to utilize our expertise to create meaningful connections that will translate into successful business relationships.”
