Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin's optimism about the future of Ethereum's ecosystem finds support from Shiba Inu's Shytoshi Kusama, who acknowledged the prediction's significance.
Vitalik Buterin on Cross-L2 Interoperability
A recent statement made by Vitalik Buterin, one of the co-founders of Ethereum, expressed optimism over the future of the ecosystem that Ethereum operates within.
In his presentation, he emphasized a number of significant advancements in cross-L2 interoperability that have the potential to significantly alter the way in which consumers perceive Layer 1, rollups, and sidechains, U.Today shares.
Anderin outlined a strategy for how these enhancements will be implemented, highlighting the commitment and determination that exists within the Ethereum community to address the interoperability issues that have been brought to light.
Kusama's Optimism on Buterin's Vision
A brief statement was issued by Shytoshi Kusama, the unnamed leader of the Shiba Inu (SHIB) community and development, in response to Buterin's prediction. Kusama stated, "I wouldn't be surprised."
Taking into consideration that Shiba Inu's very own Layer-2 EVM blockchain solution, Shibarium, is celebrating its one anniversary this August, Kusama's remark is something that should be taken into consideration.
Shibarium's Impressive Growth Milestones
Within the span of a year, Shibarium has achieved a significant amount of advancements. An average block time of 26.726 seconds, more than 416 million completed transactions, and more than 1.8 million total addresses are some of the data that demonstrate the remarkable growth of the cryptocurrency.
An impressive amount of activity has been observed on the platform, with about 1.8 million BONE transfers and more than 11,000 tokens already in circulation.
Despite the fact that Shibarium is still a new initiative, it is already looking quite promising. L2s are going to be a big deal, according to Buterin, and Kusama seems fairly convinced about it as well. To say that many people who are interested in Shiba Inu cannot wait to watch what happens with the blockchain infrastructure of Shiba Inu over the course of the next year is an understatement.
