Huge corporations and large companies often struggle to connect with each individual, from higher ups to low level employees. Orders are sent out daily and expected to be executed perfectly. However, when we break it down and zoom in on how communication is taking place, it is no wonder that the results are less than satisfactory. Workers are unable to visualize or properly comprehend the ideas behind certain decisions, and without that clear understanding, will be unable to implement it with the same confidence as the ones making the decision. Involvesoft aligns the vision of the company with top-down communication and streamlines ideas, providing a sense of stability and cohesiveness. It also uses A.I for insights and improves company alignment.
Truth be told, regardless of whether you are working in an open office (studies show that even in an open office, communication is at an all time low as people prefer to email over talking, effectively making the workflow more jarring) or if your office building is sixteen stories high - if nothing is being done to assure communication is taking place at a quality standard, productivity will fail simply because nobody is clearly comprehending what is being asked for.
When Saumya Bhatnagar co-founded the platform of Involvesoft, she did it for friendship, for a sense of belonging, for increased productivity in a company. The New Delhian says, “you build a company to change the world. You’re not doing the job just to get the money, you’re going there to make a difference. She believes that it is by making an impact and “knowing that your work matters” is what is truly important.
With a background in coding and natural language processing, Bhatnagar set to work with her longtime friend, Gaurav Bhattacharya who has a background in marketing in sales, to combine their skills and built the successful platform utilized by many companies globally today. It is being used in high-level offices and small startups to ensure that there are no communication breakdowns between employers and employees, which is crucial in today’s fast paced world. One small misunderstanding could create a huge problem for the company but Involvesoft is there to mediate and prevent such things from happening.
However, it was not all smooth sailing as Bhatnagar has faced racism and misogyny on the path to becoming this tech entrepreneur she is today. Being both a person of color and the ‘wrong gender’ to be in the tech industry, Bhatnagar had to face multiple hurdles to get where she is today.
However, those hurdles have also become her biggest accomplishments. Having witnessed female feticide when she was in school, she developed technology when she was fresh out of highschool to prevent gender-based abortions. It has gone on to impact society as a whole as the government acquired it and has passed a new legislation on expectant mothers, preventing them from finding out what gender their child is and effectively ending female feticide.
Today, Invovlesoft’s largest client is a Fortune 25 organization, but despite that, the co-founder remains humble and down to earth. Explaining that she wants her team to feel like they are a part of a team and not just an employee that the company does not appreciate, therefore, she stays as late as any of their employees, “I always want them to know that they can come to me. If there is a problem or something, they cannot figure out. It’s okay. Just call me, and I will come and help. No matter how long it takes, five minutes or five hours or five days, I’ll be there working right beside them, as a team.”
