It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S10 may be quite different from the Galaxy 9 – both in design and features.
According to noted leaker “Ice Universe,” Samsung is reportedly planning to introduce three variants of the Samsung Galaxy S10. In his tweet, Ice Universe claims that model number SM-G970 is going to feature a 5.8-inch flat display unlike the Galaxy S9, and some believe this is supposed to be the entry-level variant of their new flagship smartphone.
However, models SM-G973 and SM-G975 will reportedly keep the curve edge display of their predecessor. The SM-G973 model will feature a 5.8-inch display, while the SM-G975 is said to have a larger 6.44-inch panel. These are believed to be the high-end Samsung Galaxy S10 variants.
This latest rumor falls in line with the previous reports saying that three variants of the Samsung Galaxy S10 are under development. However, XDA Developers believes that there may be a fourth variant that supports 5G.
“Earlier this year, we published a list of unannounced 2018 Samsung devices based on a teardown of the framework from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8‘s leaked Android Oreo update. We looked in the same place in the Galaxy S9+’s Android Pie update and found mentions of the Samsung Galaxy S10. However, we found not just three models as previously rumored, but also a fourth model that’ll support 5G. The four Samsung Galaxy S10 models that we found are code-named ‘beyond 0’, ‘beyond 1’, ‘beyond 2’, and ‘beyond 2 5G,’” Max Weinbach said in his report for XDA Developers.
Meanwhile, leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer also shared some interesting new information concerning the Samsung Galaxy S10. The upcoming flagship smartphone is going to come in nine new gradient colors. Buyers will have a lot of shades to choose from if this is true.
Other features that are rumored to be in the Samsung Galaxy S10 include a triple rear camera setup and ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanners.
