SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 07, 2017 -- Since its launch in 2011, the RightBRIDGE Annuity Wizard has been a leader in assisting annuity product manufacturers and distributors to help their producers give consistent and unbiased advice to clients when selecting annuities. The sole objective of the tool is to find the best match between product and client needs, without consideration for compensation or other bias.
“The annuity product landscape is extremely dynamic, continually evolving to provide new and distinct benefits and riders. We will continue to respond to these changes and keep the selection tool relevant to advisors and their clients. On March 1st, the Annuity Wizard will launch new functionality that allows more detailed evaluation and scoring of Fixed Indexed, Variable, Hybrid Variable, Investment-Only and Fixed Annuity Products,” says John Hyde the founder and CEO of CapitalROCK.
The updated Annuity Wizard questionnaire offers additional questions that help advisors more easily determine if the specific underlying features of these unique products align with an individual client’s needs and objectives. ReasonText™, which is exclusive to the RightBRIDGE family of products, will be enhanced to better explain to the advisor why specific, and sometimes complex, products align with their client’s best interests when compared to other annuity alternatives. ReasonText™ is written in plain English and supports whether a particular product may or may not be a fit for the client’s needs.
Additionally, distributors can now score Fixed Indexed products based on growth potential, index sophistication and client interest in riders or features that allow for bailouts or return of premium provisions.
New scoring factors for IOVA products will include client risk tolerance, client need for access to funds prior to the end of the Contingent Deferred Sales Charge period, as well as availability of a free withdrawal period or return of premium feature.
Questions and scoring of Hybrid VA products highlight client situations where these products may fit the client’s needs, including risk tolerance, investment objectives, and the client’s time horizon.
These features add to the Annuity Wizard’s already robust platform, making it a popular choice for Banks, Broker Dealers and Insurance/Field Marketing organizations. Each deployment of the Annuity Wizard is configured for each institution so that their advisors see only questions that are important to their institution and only to the products they can sell. RightBRIDGE Annuity Wizard clients also enjoy the benefit of a compliance report that documents the specific process their advisor followed to determine which product best fit their financial needs. The file includes data required to replicate the case complete with an audit trail. These features make the Annuity Wizard both an easy to use sales tool and a helpful compliance system.
