HOUSTON, Dec. 06, 2016 -- RigNet, Inc. (NASDAQ:RNET), a leading global provider of customized systems and solutions serving customers with complex data networking and operational requirements, today announced that it has been awarded a systems integration contract with Chiyoda Almana Engineering to deliver a reliable communication infrastructure for RasGas Company Limited’s (RasGas) Helium 3 recovery facility based in the Middle East.
RigNet will provide a detailed network design and engineering for the new facility. The scope of work also includes Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA), Local Area Network (LAN), Optical Transport Network (OTN), CCTV, structured cabling, access control systems and hotline system.
