‘Rick and Morty’ season 4 episode 6: Fans demand Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland to release new episodes

“Rick and Morty” season 4, episode 6, is already very late since it has been more than three months since the fifth story titled “Rattlestar Ricklactica” was aired. Although the next episode is still part of the fourth season, fans are wondering why Adult Swim can’t post the remaining stories when there are only five more to go before it wraps up.

The fans anger and frustrations

This waiting is very frustrating for the fans, especially when Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland already promised the followers of “Rick and Morty” that there will be more delays starting with season 4. They explained that since they got 70 orders of episodes in advance, they can produce more stories in advance as well, so there will be no more long waiting time.

Despite this promise, apparently, the producers could not keep it. This is just “Rick and Morty” season 4, but they are already stuck after the fifth episode. Thus, when a short clip was posted on the show’s social media, rather than being appreciative and happy, fans left angry and demanding comments.

“Slowly losing it's fan base because the writer cannot figure out how to continue the story,” one fan commented. “They gave us all of the filler episodes then left us out to dry.”

Moreover, in the most recent short teaser that shows Summer and Morty, the responses were not great either. Although Adult Swim seems to be sending a message about home quarantine and frequent washing of hands, fans retorted with replies like “New episodes before we all die, please” and “We could say the same about the second half of the season” which obviously refers to the teaser’s caption that reads: “Just get it together and wash your hands.”

Possible longer waiting time and release date

However, with the current situation in the world where people everywhere are fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, Express reported that there is a big possibility that the production of “Rick and Morty” season 4 will further be delayed in an effort to avoid getting and spreading the disease. In fact, most of the states in the U.S. are also in quarantine right now.

As of this time, there is still no update about “Rick and Morty” season 4 episode 6’s release date, but many are suggesting that it can come back in April. But with the coronavirus, a longer delay will not be surprising anymore.
