FORT MYERS, Fla., Sept. 21, 2016 -- WhereverTV Broadcasting Corp. (OTC:TVTV), a leader in delivering Over the Top (OTT) subscription television services to a variety of devices including smartphones, TabletPCs, streaming media players, computers and connected TVs announced that it has retained the Dallas based law firm Reese, Gordon & Marketos.
WhereverTV retained the Dallas based law firm Reese, Gordon & Marketos “RGM” to evaluate, review and establish a plan for monetizing the opportunities surrounding its intellectual property, the IPG Patent. On February 18, 2014, WhereverTV was issued Patent number 8,656,431 for its Global Interactive Program Guide Application and Device (IPG). The IPG is a system and device that employs a global interactive program guide to receive, access, manage, and view digital entertainment services such as live television, television on demand, and pre-recorded video and audio programming from one on more content sources, via an internet-enabled device, anywhere in the world. As disclosed, the global interactive program guide provides a user with metadata that describes available content and enables the user to access desired content on an a la carte basis and arrange the presentation of that content in any way, or in any desired order.
“WhereverTV has been aggressively revamping its entire platform, positioning us to become a premier over-the-top provider of live-streaming real-time television programming. The expertise provided by Adam Sanderson of RGM will enable us to fully explore the various options available to monetize and valuate our intellectual property,” said Edward D. Ciofani, CEO.
