Rockstar Games has recently revealed exciting news for fans a week before the release of “Red Dead Redemption 2.” The upcoming game may have had significant reveals during the months leading up to release, but the past few days have information important for any fan who wants to hit the ground running when “Red Dead Redemption 2” is officially released on Oct. 26.
Rockstar recently released the official “Red Dead Redemption 2” launch trailer to herald the game's release this week. The trailer shows more story-oriented details not revealed by the game's previous promotional material. The interesting scenes that fans will encounter in the “Red Dead Redemption 2” launch trailer include clues on upcoming antagonists and what seems like a conflict between the game's main protagonist, Arthur, and the gang he will be running with, the Van Der Linde gang.
While the “Red Dead Redemption 2” launch trailer may have new spoilers that fans will gladly pick apart, those who have already pre-ordered the game may be more excited by Rockstar's next announcement. According to a tweet by Rockstar Games, fans looking forward to “Red Dead Redemption 2” can now begin pre-loading the game on their consoles in anticipation of the release date.

Fans may want to get started with their pre-loading as soon as possible as “Red Dead Redemption 2” is packing almost 100 GB of game. Xbox One owners have the unpleasant experience of having a larger download size compared to their PlayStation 4 counterparts. In addition to the massive disk space requirement needed by the game for its installation, fans may need an additional 50 GB of space to successfully install the game.
Beyond the latest news about the game's pre-loading period and the launch trailer, fans of “Red Dead Redemption 2” will just have to experience Rockstar's latest installment to this franchise firsthand. With the huge download requirements, fans hopefully will not be disappointed.
