SUNNYVALE, Calif., Dec. 13, 2017 -- Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity company, today announced that director of market development for automotive, Bob Leigh, will be speaking at DCD Converged Canada 4.0, addressing key issues around connectivity within industrial environments.
Leigh will participate in the “IoValue: Intelligent Industry” panel, alongside industry experts from Litmus Automation, vLiberty and Schulich School of Business. This panel is scheduled for Thursday, December 14 at 3:10 p.m. ET.
The panelists will share insights on the value of IoT for the enterprise, including IoT collaboration as it relates to industrial environments, and how new approaches to this technology can drive further business value and opportunities. As part of the event’s “Network + Interconnect” track, topics within the panel will be focused on the internal and external data center transit layer from core to edge and the rapidly developing data center interconnect [DCI] eco-system.
In his role at RTI, Leigh works within the automotive and transportation industries to apply IIoT architectures to revolutionary new products, including autonomous cars. Leigh has been developing new markets and building technology companies for more than 15 years as an entrepreneur and technology leader, and has spent a decade in systems integration designing, building and writing software, primarily for the automotive industry.
