ROCKVILLE, Md., March 24, 2016 -- The Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) is now seeking applications for the 2016 class of RAPS Fellows. Being named a RAPS Fellow is a unique and exceptional achievement within the regulatory profession. Since 2008, the RAPS Fellows program has recognized senior-level regulatory professionals for continued significant contributions to, and leadership in advancing, the global regulatory profession.
"Selection as a RAPS Fellow is an honor and an important recognition of those individuals who have contributed to the growing relevance of our profession," said Fellows Selection Committee Chair Sue Stewart, president of Stewart Regulatory Consulting LLC. "By attracting these RAPS members to the Fellows we seek to harness this expertise in ways meant to benefit the broader regulatory community."
The 2016 Fellows will be honored during RAPS' Regulatory Convergence conference to take place 17–20 September in San Jose, CA, USA.
Fellows come from a variety of backgrounds and represent many different aspects within the diverse worldwide regulatory community, including those who work in industry, government, academia, research and clinical organizations, and other settings. Regardless of background, they all share a persistent dedication to regulatory excellence. For more information about the Fellows program, visit http://www.raps.org/fellows.
In addition to being honored during the Regulatory Convergence, Fellows will be entitled to hold the FRAPS designation. They may also be called upon to participate in strategic dialogue, implementation of special initiatives, international programs and other high-level RAPS activities.
2016 Fellows applications will be due to RAPS approximately 26 May. To apply, visit http://www.raps.org/network-community/fellows/application.
