NEW YORK, June 12, 2017 -- The Vinexpo trade show will take place on June 18-21, 2017 at the Parc des Expositions in Bordeaux, France. Planet Bordeaux, the Bordeaux & Bordeaux Supérieur Winemakers Association, will create for the occasion a convivial pop-up restaurant in partnership with the Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bordeaux (CIVB). It will be located outside of Hall 1 (lakeside), across from Entrance 29, and open from 9am to 6:30pm.

The pop-up restaurant will provide a great opportunity for meeting with industry professionals and tasting award-winning wines from different worldwide competitions, including the Los Angeles International Wine Competition happened in May at Fairplex, CA. Planet Bordeaux Wines excels this year with 41 gold medals, 105 silver medals and 22 bronze medals.
For the past 9 years in a row, Planet Bordeaux, the Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur Winemaker’s Association partnered with the Los Angeles International Wine Competition.
168 wines from 110 wine producers were showcased during the competition. The panel of Judges were Bernard BURTSCHY, wine writer at Le Figaro, Mark Newman, Importer and consultant, Michael MADRIGALE, Sommelier and Planet Bordeaux ambassador, Anna Myers and Jana Kravitz from Planet Bordeaux. They use a blind-tasting method to select the wines.
