GHENT, Belgium, June 14, 2016 -- Ablynx [Euronext Brussels: ABLX; OTC: ABYLY] today announced, in accordance with Article 14 of the Belgian Law of 2 May 2007 regarding the publication of major shareholdings in issuers whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market (the "Transparency Law"), that it received a notification of shareholdings from JP Morgan Asset Management Holdings Inc.
JP Morgan Asset Management Holdings Inc. notified Ablynx that, as a result of the recent share capital increase and the new number of outstanding Ablynx shares (the "denominator"), their current shareholding has dropped below the 3% threshold.
