October is just a few days away, so that means subscribers are about to receive a new set of PlayStation Plus games for free.
Headlining next month’s list of PlayStation Plus games is “Friday the 13th: The Game.” The survival horror multiplayer game allows players to step in the shoes of series main character Jason Voorhees as he wreaks havoc at Camp Crystal Lake. On the other hand, players can also choose to play as a counselor who has to escape or survive until time runs out on the game session. If players want to confront Jason Voorhees head-on they can do so as well. Just make sure the counselors have the necessary weapons to take him down.
Roll7’s futuristic combat sports game “Laser League” is the other main attraction in October’s list of PlayStation Plus games. The objective of the game is to outlast the opponent by setting up a series of lasers. Two teams of two or three players apiece are allowed to compete. “Laser League” is a relatively new game released earlier this year. Both “Friday the 13th: The Game” and “Laser League” will be available on the PlayStation 4.
Meanwhile, “Master Reboot” and “The Bridge” are added to the PlayStation Plus games for the PlayStation 3. “Master Reboot” is a first-person psychological horror game that takes place inside a virtual world called Soul Cloud, while “The Bridge” is a trippy logic puzzle game that is also available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita via cross buy.
Rounding up the list of PlayStation Plus games for October are the PlayStation Vita games “Rocketbirds 2: Evolution” and “2064 Read Only Memories.” “Rocketbirds 2: Evolution” allows players to play as a well-armed chicken, while “2064 Read Only Memories” puts players in the shoes of a journalist who is trying to unmask a conspiracy. Both games are available on the PlayStation 4 via cross buy.
