Sony is expected to announce the PS Plus lineup for February 2020 later today, January 29. However, one of the upcoming free games for the PS4 console might have already been revealed even before the official announcement.
The potential leak came from PlayStation Spain, according to Pushsquare.com. “Tomorrow at 17:30 we'll announce February's PS Plus games,” a community post on PlayStation Spain’s YouTube Channel reads. “Can you guess which games? Hint: One of them is a very well known saga.”
The message might not be too revealing for PS4 users to be able to guess a specific title. However, it’s what came after that’s very telling.
Following the texts is an animated image of Crash Bandicoot. This means that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy could be included as one of the free PS4 games in the PS Plus’ February 2020 lineup.
Despite Sony not yet making any official announcement, it’s not stopping fans from making their own predictions of what game could be coming next. According to Express, some gamers have been predicting that the 2016 “DOOM” will be featured in the PS Plus lineup, before the release of the sequel, “Doom Eternal.”
Other PS4 gamers hope for a combo of titles. There have been talks about “Nier Automata” being paired with “Dishonored 2” and “Dead Cells.”
Some gamers swear that as soon as they bought a game, it will be soon offered for free on PS Plus. For those who’ve recently made purchases, they’re somehow expecting the titles they’ve bought to be offered next month, such as “The Witcher 3” and “Star Wars Battlefront 2.”
For gamers who are haven’t yet downloaded the free games from PS Plus January 2020, there are still two games that are still available now. Players can still download “Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection” and “Goat Simulator” until February 3.
“Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection” contains the remastered versions of “Uncharted,” “Uncharted 2,” and “Uncharted 3.” It is an action-adventure game series originally developed by Naughty Dog with the remastered version done by Bluepoint Games.
“Goat Simulator” is a third-person perspective action video game developed and published by Coffee Stain Studios. Gamers play as a goat to explore and do as much damage as possible to the open-world map.
