OTTAWA, June 16, 2016 -- Logan is a seven-year-old boy with a heart condition and a real fan of the American Ninja Warrior. Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario is sending him to the season finale of the sports competition in Las Vegas, Nevada, taking place today. This is thanks to the generosity of Kivuto who raised $10,000 to adopt Logan's wish through Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario.
Kivuto hosted a special wish reveal party for Logan to announce that his wish would come true. Kivuto surprised Logan with a special lunch and a surprise American Ninja Warrior themed obstacle course. Logan passed it – streamers, hopscotch, hula hoops and all – with flying colours.
"It's heart-stirring to see a child's wish come true right before their eyes," said Ram Raju, CEO of Kivuto. "We're delighted to help Logan have a thrilling adventure – fit for a ninja!"
Logan and his family received a limo escort to Ottawa's airport on Tuesday, June 14 and are enjoying Las Vegas before they take in the exciting American Ninja Warrior finale tonight, Thursday, June 16.
"Stuff like this makes a difference in a child's life," says Graham Irvine, Logan's father. "It gives us hope about the future, about medicine, and the support you people do."
"We're honoured to make Logan's wish a reality and touched by our community's generosity!" says Anne-Frances Stiles, Wish Coordinator at Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario.
