It would seem that events in “One Piece” Episode 885 is going to be quite a bit more interesting than the Reverie arc has been, so far. Apart from the many characters of opposing sides meeting each other in one place, there will also be the matter of the mysterious character called Im. He will have some sort of connection to Luffy and Blackbeard, and it will have something to do with a giant Straw Hat.

When the preview clip, as shown below, first came out, fans who have read the manga could not believe that such a huge spoiler would be on the title, Comic Book reports. “One Piece” Episode 885 will be titled “In the Dark Recesses of the Holy Land! A Mysterious Giant Straw Hat!” That is one huge twist that would have made more sense left out of the headline.

This particular connection between Luffy and the mysterious figure named Im is a hot topic among fans who are eagerly devouring the manga. When it was first revealed, a lot of readers made the connection between Shanks and Luffy. “One Piece” Episode 885 only makes this connection more obvious with Im holding the wanted posters of both the Straw Hat captain and Blackbeard.

Even now, however, it isn’t known what the significance of the giant straw hat is and why it seems to be important to Im. A lot of speculations regarding the hat have since surfaced, including the one about how the ancient artifact is actually this One Piece that everyone is talking about. If so, “One Piece” Episode 885 might contain the kind of spoiler that most viewers would not even be aware of.

As for when fans can start watching “One Piece” Episode 885, it is coming out on May 19. Of the current arc, this one should prove the most revelatory.
