Created by subject matter experts, NCCER’s Pipeline Program consists of 127 individual covered task training modules aligned in accordance with API RP 1161, 3rd edition. These modules are equipped with knowledge and performance exams and can be combined into custom books that can be printed or viewed online. Additionally, all training modules incorporate task-specific AOC’s.
The full training program consists of multiple modules compiled together to provide focused, comprehensive training for pipeline professionals. These programs correlate directly with the new pipeline career pathway available for view at www.nccer.org/pipeline. Not only can individuals easily follow the steps to acquire the necessary credentials, but contactors can easily learn how to effectively train their employees.
This program utilizes the new NCCER Testing System where tests are automatically generated, graded and transferred to the NCCER Registry and then onto ISNetworld. Individuals taking the exams are provided with immediate results and a system-generated score report that includes a training prescription tailored to each trainee’s strengths and weaknesses. This allows individuals to seek further training where it is needed and better build a diversified skill set.
With quality and safety of the utmost importance in the pipeline industry, it is critical that training resources are well-rounded and progressive to keep pace with changing industry trends. NCCER has been a trusted name for training and qualification for over 15 years and the new, enhanced pipeline program is no exception.
