MONTPELLIER, France, Feb. 10, 2016 -- MEDTECH (Euronext, FR0010892950 – ROSA), a company specialized in designing, developing and marketing innovative surgical assistance robots, announced that it will showcase its ROSA™ Brain robotic surgery system at the Annual Meeting & Courses of the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (ACNS), held in Orlando, FL (United States) from February 10 to 14, 2016.
The ACNS Annual Meeting & Courses are a major event in the United States, gathering psychiatrists, neurologists and neurosurgeons specialized in disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system. Medtech will be organizing demonstrations of its ROSA™ technology at Booth #105 at the event.
During the meeting, Sumeet Vadera, MD, neurosurgeon at UC Irvine Health, Orange County, CA, will lead a presentation in the ACNS product theater entitled “IMPLEMENTING A ROSA™ ROBOTIC-ASSISTED NEUROSURGERY PROGRAM” from 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Friday, February 12, 2016. At the presentation, Dr. Vadera will share his experience and present the results of his work with the ROSA™ robot in the context of minimally invasive cranial procedures, especially for patients with epilepsy.
