McDonald’s Japan Welcomes Autumn with New Apple Caramel and Kyoho Grape Frappes
As the leaves prepare to fall, McDonald’s Japan is introducing new autumn-inspired frappes just in time to satisfy the seasonal cravings. Though summer may be over, Japan’s love for frozen treats remains, and McDonald’s is offering two delicious new flavors to welcome the transition into autumn.
The first is the Apple Caramel Frappe, featuring an apple and a unique addition of black tea extract for a refined flavor. Topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce, this frappe brings an extra layer of indulgence. Joining it is the Kyoho Frappe, highlighting the sweet, slightly tart flavor of Japan’s renowned Kyoho grapes. This drink is finished with grape-flavored pearl chocolate on top of the whipped cream, adding texture and depth.
For those who prefer to eat their sweets, McDonald’s is also releasing a Salty Butter Caramel Macaron to complement the fall beverages. These treats will be available starting September 25, with the frappes priced at 490 yen (US$3.50) and the macaron at 190 yen, making them affordable indulgences for the more excellent season.
