NEW YORK and CORAL GABLES, Fla., Nov. 09, 2017 -- Fiduciary Trust Company International, a global wealth manager and wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton Investments, has appointed Manuel Cabielles as managing director and business development officer. Mr. Cabielles, a 35-year veteran of the wealth management industry, is based in Fiduciary Trust’s South Florida office in Coral Gables, and has spent more than 20 years working directly with individuals and families in Miami and Latin America as a wealth advisor.

Mr. Cabielles was most recently an advisor and relationship manager at WE Family Offices, a dedicated multi-family office in Miami. Before joining WE Family Offices, he was managing director and senior private banker for Latin America at Banco Itau International’s Itau Private Bank. Prior to Banco Itau International, Mr. Cabielles served as managing director and international financial advisor for Latin America at Merrill Lynch. He also worked at Citi Private Bank in Miami as managing director, senior private banker, and team leader for Latin America.
