Lockheed Martin has been awarded three U.S. Department of Defense contracts worth approximately $101 million, reinforcing its role as a leading defense contractor in advanced military systems, fighter jet support, and missile production. The contracts span AEGIS combat systems maintenance, F-35 fighter jet testing, and long-range missile procurement.
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems received a $26.2 million cost-plus-incentive-fee contract modification to operate and maintain AEGIS development and testing facilities. The work will take place at the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site, SPY-1A Test Facility, and Naval Systems Computing Center in Moorestown, New Jersey, with completion scheduled for January 2027. This contract also includes Foreign Military Sales (FMS) funding from seven allied nations. Japan accounts for the largest share at 52% ($8.8 million), followed by South Korea at 19% ($3.2 million), Canada at 13% ($2.3 million), Australia at 10% ($1.7 million), Norway at 4% ($789,754), and Germany and Spain each contributing less than 1%.
In a separate award, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics secured a $24.6 million contract modification to deliver on-site engineering services, specialized ground test software, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects production acceptance testing of F-35 fighter jets. The work supports the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and international defense partners, with completion expected by June 2027.
Additionally, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control received a $50.5 million firm-fixed-price modification for the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) and Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) Large Lot Procurement program. The award raises the total contract value to $9.6 billion. Production activities will be carried out in Orlando, Florida, through August 2029.
The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center are overseeing the respective defense contract awards.
