LAS VEGAS, Oct. 20, 2016 -- Lingerie Fighting Championships, Inc. (“LFC”) (OTC Pink:BOTY) announced today that it has hired Charles Connaughton to serve as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. The position had been filled previously by Chief Executive Officer Shaun Donnelly following the departure of Terry Butler.
"It was always intended that I would fill the CFO position as briefly as possible,” explains Shaun Donnelly, LFC’s Chief Executive Officer. “Just until we found a great match and in Charles I’m confident we’ve done that.”
Connaughton and Donnelly came to each other’s attention in a very unorthodox way. Connaughton had rented a home owned by Donnelly for a family vacation in Las Vegas and as the two exchanged e-mails he noticed Lingerie Fighting Championships in the signature. When he returned home to New Jersey he did some research on the company and contacted Donnelly.
Connaughton has worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Hartz Capital of Secaucus, NJ for the past 10 years. Before that he worked as a Senior Fund Accountant and Accounting Supervisor.
On the same day the company also welcomed Brad Kelly as LFC’s new Sponsorship Director. Kelly is a veteran sponsorship director with a proven track record.
“We have been trying to find a great sponsorship person since day one,” Donnelly says. “Let me tell you, they are not easy to find.”
Kelly has sold sponsorship for cable television and radio networks the past several years. Television viewers in Canada will also recognize him as the weatherman on CTV Morning Live which airs across the country. Kelly has left the position in order to focus on LFC.
These two hires will enable Donnelly to spend all his time on the operation of the company and growth of the brand. The company’s next events include a Halloween-themed show October 29 and their first show in Europe on November 10.
