For as long as we all can remember, the news has been an integral part of society. It didn’t take long before marketers around the world understood the impact that the news could have on building and growing a business.
Fast forward to the 21st century, and PR has become arguably the most important facet of scaling a business. In 2021 the world of online marketing, PR and media is still a vast landscape, and one that is changing rapidly - with an abundance of platforms online to share ideas, stories, create impact and make a lasting change on the world.
Despite all this, Australian based entrepreneur and media expert, Lewis Schenk, felt as though there was still something missing. Having dedicated the past 18 months of his life to bridging the gap on what’s possible for small to medium businesses when it comes to their public relations, he wanted to go a step further to change that.
Because of this, deciding to launch his latest passion project, Auspreneur, was an easy decision for him. “Auspreneur is a platform that is going to allow both up and coming and already established businesses and entrepreneurs to have a platform to share their message, and grow their brand here in Australia” Lewis explains. The harsh media landscape in Australia saw many of his new clients choose to work with his team, after they’d been burned by previous PR companies, who charge exorbitant amounts with no guarantee of any placements.
With a passion for storytelling, it comes as no surprise that Lewis has gone down this route. The Auspreneur platform is dedicated to sharing entrepreneurial news from Australia and internationally, where everyday Australians who are achieving success can continue to do so, and get more publicity for it in the process.
Founding Boost Media Agency in early 2020, it has been a whirlwind ride for Lewis, with the company’s momentum not looking like slowing down any time soon. “We have grown really fast, which is super exciting. Our team continues to grow, and we’re at the stage where I'm looking to have a few more team members to really ramp things up”. Lewis explains.
