NEW YORK, Oct. 14, 2016 -- Levi & Korsinsky LLP has filed a class action lawsuit in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota (Civil Action No. 16-cv-03198) on behalf of all current stockholders of G&K Services, Incorporated (NASDAQ:GK) in connection with the proposed sale of the company to Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ:CTAS). The complaint filed alleges, among other things, that G&K and the members of its board of directors violated Sections 14(a) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 14a-9, as promulgated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. More specifically, the complaint alleges that the defendants have filed proxy solicitation materials with the SEC that misrepresent or omit material information regarding Cintas’ proposed acquisition of G&K.
