DODGEVILLE, Wis., March 08, 2017 -- Lands’ End, Inc. (NASDAQ:LE) today announced the election to the Lands’ End board of directors of Robert Bowman, President of Business and Media of Major League Baseball and Chief Executive Officer of Major League Baseball Advanced Media, the Internet and interactive media unit of Major League Baseball.
“In this digital transformation of retail, it is important for our company to be on the leading and cutting edge of technologies and we are delighted to have Bob’s experience on our Board,” said Lands’ End Chairman Josephine Linden.
Prior to joining Major League Baseball in November 2000, Mr. Bowman held several senior management positions at ITT Corporation, including President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bowman served for eight years as Treasurer of the State of Michigan.
Mr. Bowman’s election increases the number of Lands’ End directors to eight.
