The MGI JETvarnish 3D Evo uses 100 percent digital technology, which provides quick prototyping, short run customization flexibility and the ability to support Personalized Embossed Variable Data Foiling (VDF) on every piece produced. Designed for dynamic performance to meet the demands of the most demanding applications, the JETvarnish 3D Evo adds value to any standard” print job by spot coating digital and offset prints to create a premium and high-end look and feel, helping producers gain higher margins.
This series provides a real differentiator with declining margins in print; printers are looking for ways to stand out. By offering spot UV coating, it allows them to produce premium products with premium margins. The JETvarnish 3D Evo is available in three different widths: 52 x 120 cm/20 x 47”, 64 x 120 cm/25 x 47” and 75 x 120 cm/ 29 x 47". Based on print width, the product naming conventions are as follows:
- JETvarnish 3D Evo 52
- JETvarnish 3D Evo 64
- JETvarnish 3D Evo 75
Adjustable to future operational needs, users can upgrade the JETvarnish 3D Evo in the field as their business grows and increase their productivity by expanding their service portfolio with larger formats. And by combining it with the inline hot-foiling module, an even more glamorous finish can be achieved.
“Konica Minolta’s goal is always to provide our customers with products that exceed their expectations and are adaptable to their future needs, and the MGI JETvarnish 3D Evolution series does just that,” said Kevin Kern, Senior Vice President, Business Intelligence Services and Product Planning. “The high-quality, luxury products the printer is able to produce enables our customers to differentiate their services from other print providers and its scalable, upgrade path ensures it can keep up with their productivity needs as their businesses grow.”
Some of the distinguishing features include:
- Artificial Intelligence SmartScanner (AIS), which uses artificial intelligence to create an automatic varnish and hot foil registration for inkjet heads over the preprinted sheet
- Corona Surface Treatment option, which has been integrated into the series to expand substrate compatibility and printed ink options
The series is available immediately for purchase through Konica Minolta channel partners.
