Kia Corp. plans to suspend its assembly line in Georgia, USA from Thursday to Friday due to a semiconductor shortage.
South Korea's No. 2 carmaker had suspended operations at the Georgia factory, which produces the Sorento SUV, Telluride, and K5 sedan, for two days last month.
The Georgia plant rolled out 70,600 units in the first quarter.
Kia also halted the production of its factory in Gwangmyeong for two days last week due to the same problem.
