Cases and deaths from COVID-19 continue to rise in the US since the lockdown and even more so within the White House. This has also affected White House advisers Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump’s children, who were withdrawn from the school they currently attend.
The administrators of the private school that Ivanka’s children attend has expressed concerns about the couple’s disregard for the COVID-19 safety guidelines. This has resulted in their children’s withdrawal from the said school that they have been attending for the last three years. According to the person knowledgeable in the matter, Ivanka and Jared have violated the guidelines for COVID-19 precautions in the school in the parent’s handbook.
Because of their positions as executive branch employees of the government, Trump and Kushner’s movements are highly publicized. Combined with the confirmed cases in the White House and the complaints of other parents, the couple has since removed their children. The private school has established its own prevention protocols based on the CDC guidelines that were established.
However, other people knowledgeable of the matter revealed that the school confronted Kushner and Trump about the violations regardless of parent complaints. The first source also noted that the school had also attempted to resolve the issue and keep the family in the school. The primary concern raised among parents including the school’s administrators regarding the couple was that they were constantly exposed to an environment where cases are rampant and the wearing of face masks was not mandated.
As Ivanka and Jared’s time as White House officials are now limited due to an incoming Biden administration by January, the couple is reportedly set to move back to New York. Trump and Kushner are supposedly planning to make their return to the New York social scene however, insiders have revealed that their supposed “comeback” to the social scene would be very difficult. It should also be noted that the couple’s friends have now become their former friends in the past four years and are vocal critics of the administration. Those who are still on good terms with the couple may also end up suffering from blame by association.
