Industry Leader and Author Robert McCall to Give Keynote Address at NETA’s PowerTest 2018 Electrical Power Systems Conference

PORTAGE, Mich., Jan. 04, 2018 -- A 33-year veteran of the electrical power industry, performance and safety consultant Robert McCall will be the keynote speaker at PowerTest 2018 — the premier electrical power systems conference — scheduled for February 26 - March 2, 2018, in Washington, D.C.

McCall, author of Zero Accidents and Injuries: Are You Willing to Pay the Price?, has more than 30 years experience in electrical power and was the first African-American plant manager. He retired from Duke Energy as General Manager of Fleet Services, where he was responsible for managing over 13,000 vehicles and mobile equipment valued at more than $600 million operating in six states with 58 locations. Currently, he is president of Inspire High Performance, LLC, where he follows his passion of helping companies and organizations build a culture of high performance where all can work at their top potential every day, thus preventing injuries, saving lives, recognizing errors, and improving processes.

"This is not going to be a lecture. It's a discussion. I'm going to ask the audience questions. We're going to talk things through, so that it makes enough sense to push them into action," McCall says. "If I do that right, they walk away with the knowledge and tools to start building a better culture and a safer more productive team."
