LOS ANGELES, March 09, 2017 -- Imperial Capital, LLC (“Imperial Capital”) announced today the addition of a number of senior institutional sales professionals as it continues its recruiting strategy to employ veteran sales professionals to deepen the franchise’s credit sales & trading capabilities with global institutional investors. Terrance Cassidy Jr., Geoffrey Mattson and Charles Yorke join Imperial Capital’s High Grade/Hybrid Sales team as Managing Directors.

Mr. Terrence Cassidy Jr. joins Imperial Capital as a Managing Director in the High Grade/Hybrid Credit Sales Group in New York with over 30 years of industry experience. Most recently, Mr. Cassidy was a Managing Director in Fixed Income Sales at Societe Generale. Prior to this, he was a Managing Director at CapRok Capital, LLC. Mr. Cassidy spent the majority of his career with Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. as a Managing Director of Credit Sales. Mr. Cassidy earned an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a BA in Economics from Hobart College. In addition, Mr. Cassidy holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.
Mr. Geoffrey Mattson, who brings over 15 years of experience in Capital Markets, is a Managing Director in the High Grade/Hybrid Credit Sales Group in New York. Mr. Mattson’s experience includes his role as the Head of Fixed Income Sales at SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc. Prior to SMBC, Mr. Mattson was a Director of Institutional Fixed Income Sales with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and a Senior Vice President with KBW. Mr. Mattson began his securities experience with Lehman Brothers in High Yield Research, eventually transferring to the Credit Sales Group. Mr. Mattson earned an MBA in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan. In addition, Mr. Mattson holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.
With over 35 years of credit sales experience, Mr. Charles Yorke joins Imperial Capital as a Managing Director in the High Grade/Hybrid Credit Sales Group in Chicago. Most recently, Mr. Yorke was a Director in the investment grade and high yield sales group with Deutsche Bank. In recent years, Mr. Yorke has held IG and HY credit sales positions with Jefferies LLC and Cantor Fitzgerald. Mr. Yorke was Head of Marketing & Business Development at CW Henderson & Associates as well as a Managing Director with HSBC Securities USA. Prior to this, Mr. Yorke has spent nine years in credit sales at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Yorke began his career as a Vice President with Salomon Brothers.
