The talk will review emerging compact embedded OTDR technologies for real-time monitoring of the optical physical layer.
Service providers and data center operators achieve greater levels of optimization and operational efficiencies with centralized control planes that rely on real-time network diagnostics. New compact OTDR technologies are being embedded into optical network systems to provide real-time monitoring of the optical physical layer.
II-VI will exhibit its embedded optical monitoring solutions in Booth # 730. II-VI will also showcase its advanced components, 980 nm pump lasers, transceiver-embedded optical amplifier solutions, intelligent modules and dynamic subsystems.
