BETHESDA, Md., Dec. 13, 2016 -- India Globalization Capital, Inc. (NYSE-MKT:IGC) announces today that Ram Mukunda, CEO of IGC, will participate as a panelist at the New York State Society of CPAs’ Marijuana Symposium to be held Dec. 13 in New York City.
To date, 28 states and Washington, DC, have legalized marijuana for medical and/or recreational use. As the marijuana industry continues to grow rapidly, as well as generate jobs and revenue, CPAs have been asked to provide their services to businesses that cater to the medical marijuana industry.
Debra Borchardt, financial journalist and contributor to Forbes will moderate a panel of experts who will address practical business, banking and legal issues in New York State. The panel features six distinguished speakers including New York State Sen. Liz Krueger and IGC’s CEO, Ram Mukunda.
