Huawei Mate 20 Pro may have just had its most futuristic feature leaked if a new alleged image of the upcoming Android device is to be taken seriously. Huawei Mate 20 Pro is expected to improve upon everything the P20 Pro did right when it came to market.
The Chinese tech giant has scheduled a hardware event on October 16 that is set to unveil the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, according to a source.
In addition to featuring an arguably similar triple-camera setup as was first seen on the P20 Pro, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro has also been predicted to feature a much larger display. Some have speculated the panel on the Mate 20 Pro could be as big as 6.9-inches and feature curved sides. Huawei has already confirmed its latest and greatest processor, the Kirin 980, will be present and driving the device. Huawei has not been shy about showing off the capabilities of the new chipset that should provide a significant upgrade from the Kirin 970, that was present in the P20 Pro when it released earlier this year.
Now, this seems to be turning into a trend, but ahead of its grand unveiling, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro appears to have been hit by a number of leaks. Images have appeared online of alleged Mate 20 Pro units in the wild, which is the device that has been shown with three camera lenses on its rear.
However, unlike the P20 Pro, the new flagship displayed the sensors on the middle of the product rather than stacking them vertically, Express UK reported. It also doesn't help that teases from Huawei about the product also gives some validity to such a design choice.
While the latest Huawei Mate 20 leak is incredibly interesting, official details about the device will not be disclosed to the public until October 16.
