Crew brings more than 20 years of marketing experience to Hotwire. Most recently she was CMO at BOLD, a leader in the jobs and employment space. While there, she oversaw its corporate rebrand – repositioning the company and building out its digital marketing team, including a creative services team from the ground up. Prior to BOLD, Crew held multiple senior marketing roles at SAP, including Head of Global Business Operations, Products & Innovation Marketing.
Hotwire launched the CMO-in-Residence initiative in May 2014 to help its clients in need of extra support from C-level marketers and to educate its staff on the inner-workings of the CMO mind as it relates to current business challenges. Some notable alumni of the program include CMO of United Rentals, Chris Hummel, who brought 20 years of experience from Fortune 300 corporations and Cisco veteran Luanne Tierney, who provided over 25 years of marketing experience from leading tech brands. In 2018, the program will continue its commitment to bringing the latest CMO insights to clients and employees through industry events, research, and learning and development sessions.
“Hotwire continues to deliver innovative programs for both its clients and staff,” said Crew. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to offer my marketing experience to Hotwire’s network and excited to connect with like-minded, forward thinking marketers. Having maintained a challenger mindset my entire career, it’s a natural partnership.”
“The role of the CMO has never been so demanding and the rapid change of technology is only adding to the pressures of the job. Now, more than ever, CMOs are playing an active role in driving strategy and leading change efforts across the broader business,” said Barbara Bates, Global CEO of Hotwire. “The CMO-in-Residence program gives our global staff and clients a better understanding of this evolution and how to address these challenges to deliver the best results possible. It’s part of our commitment to be the best agency you’ll ever work with."
