"Star Wars Battlefront 2" has now given its player base a new and faster way of leveling up their Hero ships. The Hero Starfighter update encompasses a lot of factors in the game including map, hero, hero mode, and game mode.
A new multiplayer mode is now available, with eight players divided across two teams. Each player will be spawned as one of the Hero ships fighting for their team, GameSpot reported. If a Hero ship is blasted out, that particular player will no longer return as a Hero ship but rather as a standard bomber, fighter, or interceptor.
These standard ships have infinite lives and a team will win a round if all four Hero ships are destroyed. The game will declare a winner once a team wins three out of five bouts. This new game mode offers players a quicker way to level up their Hero ships, which a lot of players have been asking about.
Landing on the ground gameplay, the Hero Starfighter update has tweaked several gaming features, such as players being able to turn on and off their lightsabers. Blocking bolts from blasters will now decrease stamina. The update has also brought back Ewok Hunt with a few tweaks in its gameplay.
The Great Temple Yavin 4 map will now host the Jetpack Cargo. And for the month of July, Extraction has now returned, which can be found under the Operation menu.
The developers are also continuing to roll out improvements on Quality of Life (QoL), this time inaugurating new heads-up display (HUD) elements on Hero Showdown. This specific enhancement will ease the side of strategic gameplay by providing an improved overview of the health status of a player’s teammate and enemies. Strike has also been made relatively easier as the Objective Delivery Zones will be visually displayed in the game.
Moreover, the update also increased the rewards of daily quests. From 1,000 points, daily quests will be pushed up to 1,500. However, instead of having one quest per day, players will be completing three, with each quest rewarding 500 points.
Note that there are a lot more changes that the Hero Starfighter update will bring. The abovementioned alterations are just some of the notable adjustments that the month of July will usher in.
