ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 26, 2016 -- Hard Rock is aiming to heal the world, one music note at a time. Since opening in 1971, Hard Rock International has been committed to two consistent brand pillars— music and philanthropy. Hard Rock International is combining these two passions with the launch of the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, a global charity that aims to improve lives through the power of music. New Hard Rock Heals Foundation programs include a dedicated merchandise line and Hard Rock Heals Foundation hotel suites that offer a musically enhanced experience. Each of these initiatives implemented at Hard Rock Cafe and Hotel venues will directly benefit the Hard Rock Heals Foundation.
“The creation of Hard Rock Heals Foundation marks the strategic decision for our brand to unite all philanthropic efforts, including global initiatives and local events, under one charity platform to benefit one common goal: making the world a better place through music,” said Kellie Brown, Philanthropy Manager for Hard Rock International. “By the close of 2021, Hard Rock Heals Foundation’s goal is to fundraise a minimum of $10 million for organizations immersed in music philanthropy.”
The foundation’s motto, Love.Amplified., seeks to inspire us all to turn up the volume and deliver the message that lives can be improved by the power of music. The Hard Rock Heals Foundation provides grants and assistance to music-centric, health and wellness programs worldwide, including the foundation’s inaugural partners MyMusicRx, Musicians on Call, Stax Academy, Street Symphony, Bombay Teen Challenge and Nordoff Robbins.
All funds raised through Hard Rock’s various philanthropic efforts at cafes, hotels, casinos and other venues will be used to support global and local efforts that tie closely to Hard Rock’s greatest brand differentiator – music. Guests can also join Hard Rock in its mission to stay true to its mottos, “Love All – Serve All” and “Take Time to be Kind” through Hard Rock’s new merchandise line, hotel rooms, and live music programs.
