NEW YORK, May 23, 2017 -- Guggenheim Investments, the global asset management and investment advisory business of Guggenheim Partners, has had Guggenheim Mid Cap Value Fund (SEVPX) named to the Q2 2017 Schwab Mutual Fund OneSource Select List® by Charles Schwab Investment Advisory, Inc. (CSIA).
Mutual funds on the Select List are rigorously screened by Schwab experts based on such factors as risk, performance, and expenses. Funds considered must be no-load, no-transaction fee mutual funds with a track record of at least three years.
“We’re honored that Guggenheim Mid Cap Value Fund has been placed on Schwab’s Mutual Fund OneSource Select List,” said Douglas Mangini, Guggenheim Senior Managing Director, and Head of Intermediary Distribution.
“Schwab’s Mutual Fund OneSource Select List is an important and popular tool for helping financial advisors and investors sort through thousands of available mutual funds and identify those which stand apart.”
Guggenheim Mid Cap Value Fund seeks to deliver long-term growth of capital by investing in equity securities of undervalued small- to medium-sized U.S. companies.
The Fund’s management team selects securities that appear undervalued by the overall market relative to assets, earnings, growth potential or cash flows. It applies a valuation-focused stock selection process that combines fundamental research with a proprietary quantitative screening process to identify companies the team believes have the potential to outperform.
