WALTHAM, Mass., Dec. 26, 2017 -- Great Elm Capital Corp. (“we”, “us”, “our” or “GECC”), (NASDAQ:GECC), today announced that its Board of Directors declared a special distribution of $0.20 per share, which is payable on January 30, 2018 to stockholders of record as of December 29, 2017.
“As we have consistently out-earned our declared distributions this year, we are pleased to announce a year-end special distribution to our stockholders of $0.20 per share. In addition to this special distribution, we have paid/declared approximately $1.00 per share in regular distributions in 2017 year to date, bringing our full year distribution to $1.20 per share, representing 9.7% of our September 30th NAV,” said Peter A. Reed, President and Chief Executive Officer of GECC.
