ORLANDO, Fla., June 16, 2017 -- It’s all about Dad this Father’s Day as The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes, Orlando continues to curate unique and exceptional experiences for guests and locals alike with the opening of the Barber Shop at The Ritz-Carlton Spa.
According to Spa Director, Tina Crawford; the Barber Shop’s tagline – Bourbon, Beer, Barber – is taking men’s grooming to an entirely new level. Guests can indulge in a wide variety of traditional styling services while sipping on a complimentary glass of Knob Creek or Woodford Reserve artisanal Bourbons, or home-brewed Caramel Cream Ale, Golden Lager, or Honey Citrus Ale Surplus from the resort’s own Whisper Creek Farm Brewery.
Sample Barber Shop experiences include:
- The Grande Shave – A true gentleman’s shave experience beginning with shave prep oil and hot lathered shave cream, followed by warm steam towels with a facial cleanse and facial massage. The treatment finishes with a crisp, cool towel, followed by a choice of a hand or scalp massage.
- The Men’s Shave – Luxury straight razor shave with warm steam towels, shave prep oil, and hot lathered shave cream.
- The Men’s Grande Escape – A full experience combining our Men’s Haircut and Grande Shave.
Other treatment offerings include The Men’s Haircut, The Head Shave, The Beard Trim, The Men’s Color, and The Men’s Escape. The Barber Shop carries the Olivina Men natural grooming line, which features Bourbon-infused products including Bourbon Cedar Body Wash & Conditioning Cream, Bourbon Vanilla Organic Olive Oil Lip Balm, and Bourbon Cedar Cologne.
Comprising more than 40,000 square feet, The Ritz-Carlton Spa is secluded and protected by lush gardens, a peaceful lake and Spanish-Moorish architecture. Featuring The Ritz-Carlton Spa philosophy of sanitas per agua, “health through water,” guests are transported back in time through treatments honoring water therapies famous throughout the world since ancient times. Reflecting its Florida location, the Spa highlights citrus-inspired health and beauty treatments as well as spa rituals from the most exotic Ritz-Carlton locations.
The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes, Orlando sets itself apart in the community through its ongoing quest to craft unique, exemplary, and participatory occasions for guests to enjoy memorable experiences in Orlando. Examples include the wine cask system at Highball and Harvest, the on-site Whisper Creek Farm, Whisper Creek Farm: The Kitchen, and The Brewery.
